DO-HEALTH Laboratory

DO-HEALTH central laboratory

All biomarkers of the organ-specific biomarker study assessed in all 2157 DO-HEALTH participants at baseline, 12, 24 and 36 months will be quantified in the central DO-HEALTH laboratory at the University of Zurich (Institute of Clinical Chemistry, University Hospital Zurich, headed by Arnold von Eckardstein). This laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025. All clinical chemistry tests and immunoassays for the organ-specific biomarker study are provided by the DO-HEALTH industry partner Roche-diagnostics free of charge and performed on a COBAS8000 auto-analyser.
